I'm in Albany

So on June 7th I arrived in the innercity of Albany New York. Its about 2 hours North of New York City. Everyone still has really strong accents and are pretty rough around the edges. On Monday was our first day of classes. Good stuff. Just learned about doing everything in excellence not to give a performance but to set ourselves apart from the world. After lunch we were asked to go hand out some bread to the neighbors because it was about to go old. So we stood on the corner with about 8 boxes FULL of bread, chicken, meat, meatloaf, and turkey. After that we had another class and then dinner and another.

Everyday, we have about 6-8 hours of classes, in the middle we eat, and work on memorizing our mission statements and sermons that we're going to have to preach to the churches we travel to later.

It's really intense, no coffee, no sugar. We go to church about 5 times a week which is hard for me because I barely go once a week.

I"m learning a lot and God is really starting to do some demolition on my heart. But I'll get into that some other time. It's about 11:30 and curfew was 30 minutes ago so I'm gonna get going.

Keep checking for more blogs as I will post one every couple of days.

I love you all as spiritual brothers and sisters. My God show you His love in a unique way today.
